Build Your Own Fair Line

Build your own football spread one adjustment at a time, then compare it with the sportsbook. Every number comes from you — this is your number, not an OutpriceTheBook number.

Your adjustments

Enter every adjustment as points in Team A's favour: + helps Team A, − helps Team B. Leave a row blank for 0.

How many points better Team A is on a neutral field

+ if Team A is at home, − if Team B is

Spread notation: −2.5 means Team A is favoured by 2.5.

Your number

Your fair line: Team A PK.

This builder uses adjustments you enter. It does not use the private OutpriceTheBook model.

How this works

Plain arithmetic. Each adjustment is entered as points in Team A's favour. Your fair spread for Team A is the negative of their sum:

neutral difference + home + availability + rest/travel + weather + matchup + other = Team A advantage · fair spread = − advantage

Example: 1.5 + 2.0 − 0.5 + 0 + 0 + 1.0 + 0 = 4.0 points for Team A → Team A −4.0. Against a market of Team A −2.5 your number is 1.5 points toward Team A.

The difference only describes how your number compares with the market. It is not a bet recommendation. This builder uses adjustments you enter. It does not use the private OutpriceTheBook model.

Questions

Where do the adjustments come from?
From you. Ratings, injuries, rest and matchup values are your own judgement — the builder only adds them up and compares the result with the market.
Does a difference from the market mean I should bet?
No. A difference means your number disagrees with the market. Whether that is an edge depends on how good your inputs are.
